Randy + Peter’s book was the 1st one I purchased and read when I decided to transition to becoming a voice artist. The work is comprehensive, easy to read, and very instructional. Especially with the free CD, they’re transformed into your living room –along with a student or two — and being new to this, you’re not asked to participate. And there was the initial comfort factor there. A nice positive psychological touch.
Besides the nuts and bolts of voice work, Randy relates her own experience to give us a taste “of the life.” It isn’t done in an ego-driven way, but in a way that suggests that with significant coaching and good marketing strategies in addition to talent (which means more than a voice like God’s) you (or should I say ‘I’) can do this too!
